Cool trick

I just noticed that my SmartString script object, which uses ACME Script Widgets, hadn't even blinked when I moved to X which didn't have ACME Script Widgets. I'd written it such that it could fall back to pure AppleScript if ACME wasn't installed. I hadn't even noticed when it did that.

Nevertheless, I see at http://www.acmetech.com/ that there's an OS X version and Wayne's trying to leverage off my massive popularity. ;)

So, now my SmartString again uses ACME Script Widgets, without even recompiling.

Jon
