If it's a Classic applet, you can still use Classic osaxen, you know. So you
can use Jon's deleteFile or Akua's collate with deletion or collate with the
trasher.
There is only one Finder, I think, so even your Classic applet is probably
speaking to the OS X Finder, not the Classic one. Is the dialog an OS X
dialog? Whose dialog is asking if you really want to delete? That doesn't
happen with OS X applets or scripts, AFAIK, so I'm puzzled as to why it
would insist in a Classic applet. Or is this maybe an FMP-deletion and
FMP-dialog? Whose dialog is it?
