Thank you all for your suggestions... I'm afraid I'm a bit slow on uptake
and implementation - still jousting my own windmills... else I would have
reported back.
For a while I thought I'd beat the 'nextmost' problem simply by hiding
the frontmost... after a day long head banging session, I learned it
wasn't in the least a reliable method.
Oh, well. The salt mines are cavernous and labyrnthine.
