Classic apps can't see X processes (running apps). They don't have to here.
The Classic app is not sending commands to your X apps, but the other way
around. OS X apps can see all processes. And if you've sent your to or
within a Classic app tell block, it will work (as long as it's not on of
those few Classic control panels that doesn't work in X at all).
