Which is why scripting Cocoa applications is so ungodly painful. But then
Applescript and NeXTies have not always been bosom buddies.

Because we really get irritated when an Apple application, which is 99%
likely to be the first email app a newbie tries to script, has what is a
really poor scripting implementation. The dialog box thing is just
ridiculous. The thing about Mail being the new kid works against you,
because you have *so* many other good examples to build Mail's dictionary
on.

No one says you don't care cricket, but the errors only seem to get fixed
on .x releases, which means, if we go by Apple's past schedule, we are not
going to see a single fix until summer/fall 2003. So, with that in mind, you
have the better part of another year of this.
