I use a FM tool called "Form Decoder", which allow to capture and store form
submissions from any source (web, MS Word, PDF, etc.)
I use it directly with Entourage, via a rule. When a form submission
arrives (I know by subject header, but you can trigger as you want), then
the decoder captures the form contents to FileMaker, and also adds a contact
to my Entourage contacts, marked with a proper category (Form Submission)
and also sets some of the custom fields of Entourage's contact card, so that
I know: the IP from which the form was submitted, the URL of the form and
so on.
If you want to have a copy of my Form Decoder, I'd be happy to send it to
you. (Reply to this email with the characters 'notjunk:' before the subject
(not the quotes, but include the colon).
The 'reg ex' solution offer is fine, but it is not really all that useable
'out of the box', unless you use AppleScript or BBEdit to run your reg ex.
The FileMaker solution is best, I think, for your needs since your
destination is a FileMaker database.
I use multiple copies of the decoder database for each of the dozens of web
forms I collect data from, and it has never given me one error.
