Keychain scripting is driving me *MAD*

Can anyone...anyone at all, show me any sample code that lets me set the
protocol and authentication for an internet key in keychain scripting.

I don't think it can be done. In fact, I'll bet a bottle of beer at MacWorld
S.F. 2003 that it can't be done.

I tried reading the protocol from an existing key, and writing it into a new
key, and got told that it couldn9t make an item into an item.

Is keychain scripting just broken wrt to writing information, and we should
ignore it when we wish to create keys?
