This is a shame, because being able to paste a reference to a Finder item
into a script was one of the features that made AppleScript a little bit
more accessible to new users. With this gone, and the ability to record
actions in the Finder also AWOL in X, the scope for new users to explore and
dabble with AS is severely limited.
