More on 'bounds' of windows. Internet Explorer this time...

I should have known better than to attempt to develop an applescript that would work on 'any' application, relying on application developers to implement the basic set of commands.

The command:

bounds of window 1

does not work in Internet Explorer. Maybe it is my imagination, but the only class I see in the dictionary is "application". You can only get minimal information for a window, and that requires two steps (GetWindowInfo to get the list of window numbers, the first being the frontmost, and then ListWindows to get the URL and title of the window - nothing else as far as I can tell).

The only possibility that I can see is the "do script" command, but that means writing in Java Script!


So, after criticizing Adobe Acrobat and FrameMaker, I guess I have to say that Internet Explorer's implementation is even worse.
