Jeremy:
Did you ever get anywhere with this? I'm trying to bring all my
SOAP-based Manila apps up to Jaguar now and am curious how things are
working for you.

Subject: XML-RPC changes in Jaguar?
To: email@hidden
I've got a script that makes several XML-RPC calls, and worked from the
AppleScript Script Menu in 10.1.x. Once I got the Script Menu working
in Jaguar again (grrr ... why couldn't it have been installed by
default, or installed if the old Script Menu was detected, or ... ), my
script succeeds badly.
I'm flipping a home page on a Userland Frontier Web site, in the Manila
application. I can flip the home page. However, the flipped home page
never gets the correct parameters inserted -- I'm creating it with a
specific title (the date), and then editing it so that it has text
stored in an AppleScript variable.
Instead of getting a page with the correct date and default text, I'm
getting a page with the wrong date title and text of "table: 3 items."
(I know the string variable for the text is correct because I can see
it as "the result" when I comment out the XML-RPC calls.)
Since the script worked perfectly in 10.1.x, I'm thinking that
something about XML-RPC has changed in Jaguar. However, I didn't see
any docs about that on the official AppleScript Web site, last I
looked.
(In fact, the official site didn't even mention the new Script Menu for
Jaguar!)
Any ideas? Feel free to bounce questions off me if it gets me closer to
a solution ...
Thanks!
