I discovered some additional information that may give someone an idea what
is going on with the "store script" command. I found that if I log out and
then log back in, the script works from the Script Menu (and even when
launched from QuicKeys). However, the script will then not update the
destination on the "store script" command when run from Apple's Script
Editor.
If I log out and then log in again, I can once more get the script to update
properly running from the Script Editor, but then running from the Script
Menu (or launching from QuicKeys) no longer works. So the first approach I
use after logging in (either from the Script Editor or from Script Menu)
seems to be the only one that updates the destination file on the "store
script" command until a new log in occurs.
