Thanks for the explanation. It fits with a QuicKeys "file already open"
error message I sometimes get when I try running the script by QuicKeys
(after having run it at least once from the Script Editor). As you note,
there is no error message when running from the Script Menu even when the
"store script" command does not successfully update the file.
Looks like it is a bug in the Standard Addition "store script" command.
