For templates that are only being used by scripts, I just save them as
normal documents. Much easy to modify when necessary, and I just keep dupes
in case of disasters (a good idea anyway).

Personally, I think this "centrality" is at the beginning of the end. And
Quark has never been particularly good at fixing scripting bugs, so don't
hold your breath.
