In general, the way to determine if an application is scriptable is to drop
the application's icon on the script editor icon as if it were a document.
If the applications 'dictionary' opens, it's scriptable.
In the case of Graphic Convertor, it is very scriptable. It even comes with
sample scripts.
Now, if you have the registered version (i.e. if you paid for it;) you can
execute batch conversions that decrease the need for writing a script.
This may be the best technique for what you describe doing.
