Never mind, I've figured it out. My syntax was
exactly right (it is just the post_arguments that I
need to forward).

I had an issue with my IP address because it
was on the same machine and that was
preventing it from working (i.e. I was using a
non-routeable IP address for the same
compuer that has the web server and cgi
scripts).

I've solved it by using the public IP address
instead. Does anyone know if that will actually
have to go through the internet or does it figure
out that it's the same machine and just
communicate locally?
