AS version -- Which best?

  • Subject: AS version -- Which best?

I'm finally playing with OSX on my PowerBook (OSX 10.1.4/9.2.2)

It's currently running AppleScript v1.6 (for both OS's)

I'm considering installing v1.8.3 (on OSX) for Script Debugger compatibility
-- but: v1.6 is real stable, works well with my current scripts in OS9.

Would it be reasonable to run 1.8.3 on OSX and 1.6 on OS9?

How buggy is 1.8.3 vs 1.6?

Thanks in advance,
xandra
