Scripting a web-form, is it possible?

Hi,

i need to make account for a whole lotta users (700+) on a server. The server is configured via a browser-interface. I'd like to make a script than can automate things for me, making an account by typing a login (for instance "1234"), a password (for instance "qdJHG68") and choosing an item from a drop-down menu.
The logins and passwords should be extracted from a text-file.

Any help or pointers are very welcome, as i'm faily new to scripting (and really need to impress the boss :-))

Regards,
Steen Villumsen
