I'm trying to create a script that takes a username and password and then
mounts several volumes. I've deployed a script for OS 9 machines that uses
"mount volume" successfully. However, when I try to use the same statement
in OS X, the Microsoft User Authentication module complains about a bad
username. "The Microsoft User Authentication Method encountered an error.
The server does not recognize the user name." It then displays the standard
username and password dialog with the attempted user name already entered. I
type in the password and it works. Anyone successfully using "mount volume"
on MacOS X (10.1.5) to reach Windows 2000 servers? The servers don't require
MS UAM but OS X evidently prefers it if installed.
