I have written a script to read all the cells in a section of an Appleworks spreadsheet.
I have created an Appleworks database. I now want to insert a new record in the database, check I am in the correct column of the sheet, pick up the data in the cell and insert it in the field of the database. I want to be selective in what I write out.
I seem to be having a problem with 'if columnname = "A" then'
Also with the insert record, write data to field.
