So if it works, please let me know!
This doesn't work. One of three things happens
(I can't seem to isolate what conditions allow
each situation to occur):
1) It won't let me compile on the target machine
because the IP address in the script is for that
same machine, so it can't find it on the network.
2) It will compile, but same as on the OS X
machine, it deletes the "on machine
"eppc://xxx.xxx.x.x"" so that it just says "tell app
"Test""
3) It compiles with everything 'apparently'
correct. When I copy this file to the OS X
machine, the IP address in the script is
truncated from "192.168.2.8" to "2.168.2.8" This
of course won't work because the IP address is
wrong. Back to the original problem now, I can't
just open it on the OS X machine and change it
because it won't compile.
Arrgh! I'm running out of hair to pull out of my
head...
