You could use Youpi Key to assign a keystroke to the script execution- free and useful app. Also, as this is scripted there is a new doc creates with each execution, which would be appropriate for Script Editor 2.0.


I searched for Youpi Key but it's now called iKey ($20), at:

I've to explore it amply, but already seems to be a very useful tool.
