Well, Paul, IceCoffee is one of the things I removed all trace of, and I now have my Services menu back in all carbon apps without any special tweaking, so I'm not about to but it back unless you can give me a good reason.


Nope. no reason to. I wasn't thinking clearly.
I was thinking contextual menu and I believe you meant the standard Services menu under the Application's name.
So, I'm curious, do you have a services menu in the Finder? Do any carbon apps allow you to use any services?

Unfortunately, after all this messing about, Classic won't launch in spite of an hour's worth of DiskWarriors and Permissions repairs etc. Shades of the old days :-(
