Time for a 414MB image with Disk Copy: 4 seconds, including application
start
Time with mount: 2 seconds
Percentage wise, much faster, human wise, barely noticeable. Also, while
it's not the best test, the image integrity check has been useful on many
occasions, saving me from trying to mount a corrupted image that didn't look
corrupted. I'd give that some thought. I'd also recommend that you dispense
with the "always accept license agreements" check box. That has real
potential for problems. If you can keep the time down, and get the integrity
check in there, then that would be very neat.

True. That is just a side benefit that appeals to my aesthetic preferences.

Mainly I am after a quicker script.
But...then you have to watch mount start up in the dock...so, all you lose
is the disk copy window. Now, if you were to do this dockless, ala Snapz
Pro, that would be quite cool.
