That is why I am using the do shell script hdiutil command. I get the speed of mount but it is dockless. Also, mounting the image is only part of the script, the result I am after is more specialized.
I have narrowed down the errors I am seeing in the Console to the hdiutil mount command but only when it is saved as a script application. The errors never show up when the script is saved as a compiled script. So I am just trying to figure out what is different between executing the script as a script application and a compiled script.
