If I recall correctly, it worked under OS 9 and earlier.
I can't say for sure, but I don't think this ever worked either.
BTW, what is that you folks think has been fixed in 'as alias list'?
My experience was that it always worked except when there was exactly 1
item returned, in which case it would error. This is still the case
for me under AS 1.9.
