Same here. I've filed a bug report, but nobody cares.
You can use Tome Viewer to extract the new Standard Additions and
Apple Script extension. One of my clients told me that it's included
on the localized 9.2.2 CDs coming with the Quicksilver G4s - perhaps
running a system update from such a CD might help.
I'm running US 1.8.3 on a german 9.2.2 and 9.1 for quite a while now
and at least for me it works very well and cures a few problems I've
had.
