Swedish version AS 1.8.3?

I'm a bit confused here...the latest version for OS9 is
AppleScript 1.8.3, but it requieres an English system,
hence it refuses to install on my Swedish system (9.2.2)
although it seemes to be the only one available for
download. My current AS version is 1.7.
Any ideas of how to upgrade here, workarounds?
