To Michelle Steiner and David Durkee, both of whom pointed out "quoted form of POSIX path of": Thank you!

I had vague recollections that there was some way of doing that, but I couldn't remember what it was, and couldn't find it in the Standard Additions dictionary. (Is "quoted form of" a general purpose command that can be applied to any string, or is it an optional part of the "POSIX path of" syntax? If the latter, it isn't mentioned in the dictionary.)
