The list of applications in the Library window are stored as part of the preferences for Script Editor 2. If you remove ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.ScriptEditor2.plist the list of applications will be restored to the default set. An alternative is to simply drag in the applications that you want into the Library window.

Many thanks for your email. I had not appreciated that I could simply drag an app onto Script Editor to see its dictionary. WRT replacing Script Editor's preferences, this made no difference. The list of sciptable apps is still not shown.
