All Internet email servers are straining under a massive increase in spam, especially virus and trojan horse program laden spam. This is causing massive delays on almost all mailing lists.

My Windows machine got infected when I accidentally double clicked a pretend .zip file in a Windows XP "Shared Documents" directory on the internal Adobe network. I went "D'oh!" immediately. My last Mac virus was WDEF, although I saw nVir some years back when Disinfectant prevented it from infecting me.

At times like these, I am immensely glad I use Macintoshes.
