OK, figure this one out: I don't have a People folder in my images
folder, and I do not have your photo anywhere that I can find in my
system. Your message does not have an X-Image-Url header. Yet, I see
your picture in the mail from you.
I assume that at one time you had such a header and that my system has
cached the image somewhere, but where?

I'm making some guesses here. Don't anyone get bent if I get it wrong.

In this case I assume (your headers indicate X-Mailer: Apple Mail
(2.552) ) that you're using Mail.app as your client. Apple has included
in Mail.app the capability to render the image if it has been uploaded
to a dot mac account that matches the sender's email address. Much like
MailPictures, but without needing additional headers.
