Hi all,
In OS9 and Classic, Quark returned it's font list like:
name:"HelveticaNeue BlackCond"
name:"Arial Narrow Bold Italic"
name:"AmericanTypewriter-CondensedLight" ...and so on
Now in Quark 6, font list returns just names of families.
name:"Helvetica Neue"
name:"Arial Narrow"
name:"American Typewriter"
If I ask Illustrator 10 what fonts it has, it replies with every single
font:
Name:"AmericanTypewriter-CondensedLight"
Name:"AmericanTypewriter-Condensed"
Name:"AmericanTypewriter-CondensedBold"
Is there a new way to retrieve all available fonts from Quark that I've
missed? Going the other direction in Quark is busted too, apparently.
If I tell an object in Ill10 set font to
"AmericanTypewriter-CondensedLight" it works.
If I tell an object in QX6 set font to
"AmericanTypewriter-CondensedLight" it errors.
If I tell an object in QX6 set font to "American Typewriter" it works.
How can I set the font to "AmericanTypewriter-CondensedLight?"
Any ideas, pretty please?
OS10.3.1 QX6.0, no additional fonts, no additional font management
software.
Thanks,
Bill
