I have a script that works on QTVR files in Quicktime Player Pro. It
works fine on my computer (OS X.2.6, AS 1.9.1). I've heard that
others have used it fine as well, but I don't really know there
configuration.
One person has recently written me and had quite a bit of problems
getting it to run on Panther. I have a second computer that I just
did a clean install of Panther on (OS X.3.1, AS 1.9.2) and at first I
couldn't get my script to run either (different error than this other
fellow, but still didn't run). I managed to open it in Script Editor
on this machine, resave, and it worked fine again.
I sent this file to him and he reports that double-clicking on this
file just ends up opening the file in Script Editor.
Any ideas how I can help get this script to run for him? Or maybe
what may be different between his machine and mine (or how I can
determine this)?
Thanks,
Landis
PS The original script can be found at

bottom in the yellow box.
