That's rather Rube Goldberg-like.
Yes. I think that JD's original was framed to get round some scripting
limitations in early versions of Safari. It kept working, so I kept
using it.
If you don't fully understand them when they work, you won't
understand them when they don't. ;)
That's pretty much the story of my relationship with AppleScript.
