At 04:36p -0500 12/10/2003, Rob Morton didst inscribe upon an electronic papyrus:

Does anyone have an idea of why this command sometimes fails?

do shell script ("/usr/sbin/diskutil repairDisk " & destinationPath) password AdminPassword with administrator privileges

where destinationPath would look like '/Volumes/Macintosh Drive' and AdminPassword is the correct password.

Every now and then it ends up with this error...
Timed out waiting for arbitration
Unmount sync timed out, the unmount still might of happend!

Is the error message's English really that horrid? ::shudder::
Somebody needs to go back to 5th grade...

simplest basics of *human* language spelling and grammar.
