Many applications and OSAXs which we use has always english dictionary.
There is a few merit to Japanese dialect also for Japanese. It was very
strange program list which written in Japanese dialect of AppleScript.
It was difficult to understand and study. In Japanese, we use various type
of character, for example Kanji, Hiragana, Katakana and alphabet. But
Japanese dialect didn't permit to use only "Katakana" characters to write on
AppleScript. It is awful to read all Katakana sentences.
So, I made and continue developping artifical brain user intaerface "Newt
On" which understands some format of natural language and control some
applications like "Newton" 's assist function. "Newt On" is full written in
AppleScript.
If we write "meet Steve on next Saturday" into Newt On in Japanese language,
it recognize the command and how to and what to do.
And I suggested to Apple to include sample AppleScripts into each
application's inside. The internal scripts can call from normal AppleScript
programs using "call internal" command.
"call internal" accepts various dialect and pick up each parameters to give
each internal AppleScript.
---English
tell application "iCal"
call internal "make new schedule on next saturday"
end tell
---Japanse
tell application "iCal"
call internal "来週の土曜日に新規予定"
end tell
---and so on...
---
If Apple Japan staff thought my idea as useful and worthy one, it might be
reallize on future version of Mac OS X.
