That's a strong statement. Why would you say that? I get a lot out of
many well designed sites including Apple's own. Surely, this is an
exaggerated statement.

Looking at your site, I'm not sure where you get off saying that. What
exactly is it that you "get"?
Apple has a very functional and elegant site for the most part. Is it
perfect? No; but show me one that is: informational, simple, pretty,
sticky, dynamic, intelligently searchable and with as much data as a
company like Apple has to handle. It doesn't have to be perfect if all
of the fundamentals are there. All good web sites will always be works
in progress. "Site perfection is in the eye of the viewer".
