AppleScript - The Definitive Guide by Matt Neuburg
Any thoughts/opinions?
If you are interested in this book, then you'll absolutely want to read
the sample chapter which is linked from this page:
http://www.oreilly.com/catalog/applescpttdg/
In fact, even if you aren't going to get the book, you'll definitely
want to read that chapter. It covers AppleScript's barely-explicable
identifier scoping. Long time scripters *may* have a visceral
understanding of scoping that nearly matches the contents of the
chapter, but the rules have never been laid out cleanly, clearly, and
completely before.
Cheers,
Mike
