That's interesting. I never installed any of the 10.2.4 betas. On 10.2.4
final (at least on my machine), the installer does NOT revert 1.2 beta back
to the new 1.1.2 or the old 1.1.1. It just leaves 1.2 beta and the old 1.1.1
in place and doesn't install the new 1.1.2.
I would assume tech support was just advising you not to use beta software.
I've been using 1.2 beta all along, on 10.2.3 and now this morning 10.2.4
without difficulty.
