After installing Developer version's of 1.2.4, I also noticed that System
Events was reverted to v1.1.2. Gui scripting is not available in the
version. I amnually opened the Dec2002SystemEvents.pkg and re-installed the
System Events v1.2 Beta. Apple's tech support did not recommend this,
instaed they said to stick with v1.1.2. I had already made the manual
installation into CoreServices by the time their e-mail reached me.
I have not seen any adverse effects from soing this, but may.
FYI
