I've only recently downloaded and tried Missing Link, and it seems quite
useful in several ways. Being able to generate lists of links to disk items
is a great feature. BBEdit can create HTML folder indexes, but Missing Link
can make an icon-based index. Much cooler when you want a local browser with
Finder graphics.
Operates much like anchors using 'file://' but with automatic icon thumbnail
generation along with the file link creation.
I'd like a few more preferences, but this is certainly a useful tool. I
think education, lab and public network browsers could all benefit from ML.
Thanks Peter.
