Not here. Here (10.2) I get the "Hello" dialog box from within Help Viewer.
I've just copy/pasted these snippets into Script Editor and "Run"
them. Is anyone expecting/doing anything different?

As a side note, I just noticed that SE1.9 doesn't seem to have any
Preferences (Script Editor/Preferences are grayed out). Is that
right or did I find a "loose screw" in my app?
