But 'as real' is now errorring in a German OS 10.2.x (I'm not sure which one

Since when are there localized versions of AppleScript? ("D" is probably
"Deutsch" = German.) What's different about them? Or is this some special
version?

It seems that AppleScript's command 'version' looks into the active Localized.rsrc of AppleScript.component.
And yes, there is a "D" in the german rsrc.
But no "F" in the french one...
As a side note: the version.plist indicates "1.9.1", while the various rscrs indicate "1.9"...

Now, as far as I remember, my version of AppleScript results from a standard installation.

Hope this may be of some help,
Axel
