URL Protocol Messaging bug?

  • Subject: URL Protocol Messaging bug?

Howdy,

While attempting to use the new URL Protocol Messaging [1], I've run into what might be a bug in the implementation of the protocol.

After using the encoding script (available from the URL below) and constructing a properly formed URL, it appears that if a script contains one or more continuation characters, the URL will fail to perform as expected.

I guess I'm looking for feedback from an Apple employee. Is this in fact a bug? If so, is it a known bug?

Thanks,
Rob J.
