The terms don't indicate which Mac OS they're referring to. They could mean
OS X, lumped in with "HP-UX, Hewlett-Packard's version of Unix", as
difficult Unix systems to break, although "BSD" is in a lesser category. Why
don't you ask them, and ask for the rationale while you're at it?
