Actually it wasn't Richard who removed the important lines which made it
clear(er) that I meant System Events beta (1.2) rather than Script Editor
beta (2.0). It was Shane, whose reply to me Richard was quoting, who had cut
out all references to System Events from the excerpts he quoted.
Therefore perhaps it was Shane who may have construed my original "SE 2.0
beta" typo, quite understandably, as Script Editor rather than as System
Events. We've probably been at cross-purposes the whole time.
OK, Shane (or anyone else): does anyone else with SYSTEM EVENTS 1.2 beta see
the non-compiling Finder keywords such as 'folder'?
