upgraded Applescript in Panther

According to the report at the front of today's Macfixit.com, talking about
Greg Joswiak's demo to them durned creative folk (who must be a different
breed from the "developers" SJ spoke to before):

"For Panther, Greg revealed a few new features not publicly mentioned
previously. Most noteworthy: (1) AppleScript has been enhanced with a
redesigned Script Editor and new ImageEvents commands. Combined with Folder
Actions, Greg showed how you could, for example, take a collection of TIFF
files and have them automatically converted to lower resolution JPGs just
by dragging them to a folder. Cool."

ImageEvents. Interesting.
