Have you considered not sending them at all? I can't speak for everyone
(obviously), but I find "Out of the Office" Autoreply messages by nature
somewhat superfluous and annoying, even if they are sent only once... I
simply don't care and find it presumptive and self-important that someone
else thinks I do. Then again, I'm pretty much of a curmugeon anyway :-)

Anything important should not be relegated to email and anything else can
wait until you get back.

In any event, the ListServe surely doesn't need to know... even once.
