You want the AppleScript Studio Terminology Reference for version 1.2,

There's a whole section on how to set up data sources from AppleScript
-- it really is much easier.

please? All's gone well until encountering the grey box telling me to
check release notes for ASS 1.2 - on how to create a datasource and
hook it up with two lines of AS , rather than following the tutorial.
I can't find any release notes that point me in the correct direction
- particularly an equivalent method to Control-Drag that works in ASS
1.2.
