AppleScripting Omnipage Pro X

Has anyone had any experience scripting this? It has very poor AS support. I managed to get OmniPage 8 to do what I wanted with the help of PreFab Player, but not very successful with the latest version and System events.

I want to save graphic zones from each page as separate TIFF files. This can be done manually on a per page basis. I can get AS to call up the SaveImage dialog and enter a file name, but I'm stuck on clicking radio buttons and selecting the format from a drop down menu. UI Browser hasn't given too much extra info. And I can't find a way to send a piece of data to the clipboard (which should tell everyone I'm a novice at all this).

Any pointers and suggestions would be most gratefully received.
